The story unfolds in a 24-hour coin-operated laundromat, a place not only for cleaning clothes but also a haven where two souls find solace and healing. The protagonist, Jae Min, 30, is a recent graduate plagued by job-hunting anxiety. The pressures of life are ever-present, clinging to him like dirt, making it hard to breathe. The other protagonist, Ji Seok, 34, was once a conventional office worker, but he resolutely threw away his meiju.ｐro perfectly ironed shirts, choosing a life of voluntary unemployment, attempting to find meaning in life at a slower pace. The gears of fate begin to turn. When the laundromat is quiet late at night, with only the hum of washing machines, these two men, seemingly living in parallel worlds, meet. Initially, they are just strangers who occasionally brush past each other in the laundromat—one dealing with a wrinkled shirt, the other waiting for a remedy to wash away his anxiety. With each late-night encounter, they began to share their stories—about failed job interviews, the courage to escape the workplace, and the confusion and anticipation about the future. In this space filled with steam and the fresh scent of laundry detergent, two once-wrinkled hearts were gradually smoothed out in each other's warmth, unfolding a healing romance that transcends age and life circumstances.
